My Bio

I was born in Scotland and moved to North Carolina when I was 10 years old and have been here ever since. My background is in journalism and creative writing, and I worked most recently as the fact checker and copy editor for Our State magazine.

In 2005, I earned my M.F.A. in creative writing from N.C. State University. Currently, I'm a tutor for www.writingclasses.co.uk, helping students with creative writing and magazine writing classes.
