I have an M.F.A. in creative writing and am currently a copy editor for Our State magazine. I also tutor creative writing at www.writingclasses.co.uk
I've been a daily reporter, a technical writer, and an English instructor at Alamance Community College. I've been published in Alamance Magazine, Southern Neighbor, North Carolina Signature, Our State, and North Carolina Literary Review (slated for 2009).
I was born in Scotland and love to travel to the British Isles to visit my family whenever I can.
In my spare time, I write short stories (and the beginnings of a novel), do yoga, and walk my Jack Russell terrier (or "terror" as I like to call him!). I also have a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
